El pleno del Ayuntamiento de Guardamar aprobó por unanimidad ayer solicitar de un crédito de 2,5 millones de euros para pagar las deudas con proveedores correspondientes al ejercicio 2008.
El Ayuntamiento, se ha acogido al Real Decreto de medidas extraordinarias y urgentes para el pago de deudas con empresas y autónomos, aprobado por el Gobierno de España el pasado mes de abril.
A 31 de diciembre de 2008, el Ayuntamiento tenía contabilizados 5.352.604 euros pendientes de pago pero a lo largo de este año se ha ido abonando buena parte de esta cantidad, y los 2,5 millones de euros serán suficientes para liquidar totalmente el remanente negativo de tesorería e incluso para afrontar el 2009 con suficiente liquidez.
El Plan de Saneamiento del Ayuntamiento de Guardamar, lleva implícito un Plan de Austeridad que contempla medidas fiscales y un programa de gestión de ingresos y gastos para los próximos 6 años.
